We actively seek to equip girls with leadership skills to make a broader impact on the wider school body and community by providing a platform that enables the girls to speak and act on issues that affect them and those around them. Activities that we engage in to achieve this objective include:
Our scholarship beneficiaries partake in guest lectures or training seminars on areas such as women’s rights, sex education, and career guidance offered by visiting alumni and other resource persons. This is supported by student led debates to encourage critical thinking about the relevance and application these issues.
Scholarship beneficiaries are also mandated to identify and implement a change project. This should include wider participation from other students and thus can be championed by an existing club or group in the school. The change project should address a critical need for the school or surrounding community.
